Accordion Blanket Fold

Use the palm of your hand to estimate the width of this fold which correlates to the width of space present between your shoulder blades. When completed, you should have a lengthwise stack about 6 inches tall.

This blanket fold can provide support during supine (lying face up) or prone (lying face down) restorative postures. It has additional benefits in spinal mobility, chest/pectoralis tissue extensibility, abdominal and hip flexor flexibility, and hip stability.
